Wasteland Coins – Last Fortress: Underground

Last updated: 07.25.2024 ☣ Game version: 1.369.001

Wasteland coins are a type of in-game currency in Last Fortress. You can obtain these only through their official store website. One Wasteland Coin = $1, but there are nuances.

Disclaimer: I do not recommend anyone spending money on mobile games, especially this one, where everything is overpriced and so much P2W (pay2win) stuff exists. So do it at your own discretion. This guide is intended for informational purposes only and does not endorse or encourage spending real money on mobile games. Players are advised to consider their financial situation before making any purchases.

Here’s how it works:

Go to the game’s official site – https://last-fortress.net/. Click “Purchase” at the top, which will lead you here – https://lf-2.store.koppay.net/en/. (KOP)

official site - purchase

  1. Login (black button in the right upper corner)
  2. Enter your in-game ID.
  3. Wait until it loads your information.
  4. Press confirm if that’s you.
  5. (Optional) Set your password.
  6. Choose how many coins you want to buy and press “Purchase.”
  7. Choose your payment method.
  8. Complete the transaction.

After that, the coins will appear in your in-game inventory.

How do you use wasteland coins?

When you want to purchase something in the game after you tap on the price of the item, it will:

  1. Ask you if you want to apply a discount coupon (if applicable).
  2. Ask if you want to spend the equivalent number of Wasteland Coins if you have the required number in your inventory.
    1. For example, there is something that costs $5.
    2. You apply a Bronze Voucher. Now it will cost $2.
    3. You use 2 Wasteland Coins from your inventory.
  3. Proceed with the regular purchase procedure if you decline (Google Pay, Apple Pay, etc.).

What’s the point?

What is the point of getting Wasteland Coins if you can purchase stuff directly in the game?

Well, there are three reasons why you might consider going this route.

Reason #1 – Lower exchange rate

If your country’s currency is not USD or EUR, there is a chance that the exchange rate of your currency when buying something online vs. buying something from the game directly can be lower. Here’s an example:

  1. The $5 item is displayed as 200 of your currency in the game.
  2. But when you buy 5 Wasteland Coins, your bank converts 180 of your currency into $5.
  3. So, you save 20 of your currency by getting Wasteland Coins instead of purchasing directly.

Reason #2 – Incentivised membership and discounts

The game officials clearly want you to get these coins instead of buying directly. It is probably related to the fee they pay to the platform that hosts their game or the merchant.

They will offer discounts on some bundles and present unique bundles during various events.

They also added a “benefits” system for buying Wasteland Coins or other items in the KOP shop.

Points Shop

The “Points Shop” link is in the store’s upper menu. You can also access it if you click on your avatar in the upper right corner of this shop and click “Current points.”

You will earn these points by performing certain actions on their store website. Each action can be redeemed only once a day.

points tasks

As you can see, purchasing something (even one Wasteland Coin) will earn you 40 points.

Overall, you can get 70 points a day if you buy something or 30 if you do not.

The only thing worth redeeming there is the Supercharger for 400 points. That’s one every six days if you buy stuff every day or one every 14 days if you don’t buy anything and do the other four actions daily.

Also, remember to redeem diamonds and other rewards in the daily Check-in section at the bottom of the Points Shop.

Membership Center

You can access the membership center by clicking on your avatar in the upper right corner of this shop and then clicking “Membership Center.”

It is similar to the in-game VIP level but a hundred times worse.

The first level lets you redeem 100 diamonds a week – that’s it. And to get to the second level, you need to spend $5,000. Like, what (???) That’s ridiculous, as well as the prices in this game in general.

Reason #3 – Make a gift

Let’s say there is someone very active in the alliance, but they cannot afford to buy stuff in the game. You might consider gifting them some Wasteland Coins so they could get NATE or Pearson (the only things worth getting, in my opinion).

NATE x heart x Pearson

Note: You cannot gift Wasteland Coins in the game.

You might also have a certain incentive system within your alliance, where, for example, those who contribute the most during the Alliance Duel within one month (excluding spenders) will get a certain number of Wasteland Coins.

I think there was an alliance with a shared account, where those who could afford it donated small amounts. Later, that account was used to purchase some essential things for active players who could not afford them.

To gift someone Wasteland Coins, you’d need to log in with their ID. This should be safe enough because although your card is saved, the information is obscured, and the CVV number must be entered each time.
