Debuffer
3: Mid backrow lets Unsheathe fire after front-row tanks absorb initial hits, maximizing AOE value against both enemy front-row heroes while keeping Chihiro protected.
4: Standard carry slot; slightly less optimal than pos 3 since Chihiro specifically targets the front row and benefits from firing before other backrow DPS act.
5: Back corner provides maximum safety but fires last among backrow heroes, reducing the chance of landing bleeds before teammates follow up.
Chihiro Fujiwara is a Minutemen Commando who slashes the entire front row with Unsheathe, delivering reliable AOE weapon damage and applying bleed through Blood Blade for sustained pressure. Her upgraded 5th skill punishes shielded enemies with an additional 20% damage taken, giving her a niche counter role against shield-heavy compositions. Murasame UW reduces healing on bleeding targets by 20%, pairing naturally with burn-and-bleed Minutemen teams, though she is outscaled by higher-rarity AOE carries.
Pros & Cons
- Unsheathe hits both front-row enemies simultaneously, providing consistent AOE pressure every round
- Blood Blade bleed stacks with Benson’s burns for dual DoT compositions
- Upgraded 5th skill makes shielded enemies take 20% more damage, countering Bolton and Harman lineups
- Murasame UW’s -20% healing reduction on bleeding targets suppresses enemy sustain
- Full Minutemen synergy with Bolton, Mira, Benson, and Rebecca
- Front-row-only targeting means backrow carries are completely untouched by Unsheathe
- Elite-rarity stats cap her damage well below Advanced Elite and Master AOE heroes
- Bleed damage (25% WPN DMG for 2 rounds) is modest compared to higher-tier DoT effects
- Replaced entirely by Heytex once he becomes available in Season 5

Gear
Reaper is best-in-slot for Chihiro’s front-row AOE burst. Apocalypse is competitive when crit investment is high (LUK statue + Apocalypse 4-piece). Resolute is the defensive fallback for any STR DPS who needs survivability insurance.
+15% Crit Rate and +30% Crit Damage. Chihiro’s AOE hits both front-row enemies, doubling the chance of landing at least one crit per Unsheathe cast. Strong when paired with LUK statue investment.
#1 BestSurvivability fallback. +0.4% ATK per 1% HP lost gives a damage boost as Chihiro takes hits, and the 4-piece death immunity keeps her alive through burst attempts.
#2Best generic DPS set for STR Commandos. +15% WPN DMG Bonus and the 4-piece +30% DMG on focus skill directly amplify Unsheathe’s already high multipliers (153/255% at 5th skill).
#3Chihiro is a STR Commando damage dealer. Prioritize STR and damage stats on weapon and jewelry (offensive slots), and HP/DEF/VIT on helmet and body (defensive slots). Do not roll INT substats on Chihiro — she deals exclusively WPN damage.
DMG Bonus, STR, Crit Rate
DMG Bonus is the universal damage multiplier; STR scales WPN ATK directly; Crit Rate for burst potential on AOE hits.
HP%, AGI, VIT
Survivability stats. HP% is the most efficient scaling; AGI reduces incoming damage and protects against AGI-targeting skills.
DEF, VIT, DMG Mitigation
Pure defense. Keeps Chihiro alive long enough to cycle multiple Unsheathe casts and accumulate bleed stacks.
DMG Bonus, STR, Skill Effect Enhancement
DMG Bonus for universal scaling; STR for WPN ATK; Skill Effect Enhancement boosts Unsheathe and Blood Blade multipliers.

Core AOE carry. Unsheathe hits both front-row enemies. Blood Blade bleeds the target for 2 rounds. Murasame UW reduces bleeding targets’ healing by 20%, suppressing enemy sustain.
Hellfire burns all enemies. Combined with Chihiro’s bleed, enemies suffer dual DoTs simultaneously. +8% DMG bonus for all Minutemen in the lineup.
Snipes the lowest-AGI enemy, covering Chihiro’s inability to reach backrow targets. Minutemen faction member contributing to the 5-hero +20% bonus.
Pure Minutemen early-game lineup built around Chihiro’s front-row AOE and Benson’s burning. Bolton and Mira anchor the front while Chihiro and Benson layer bleed and burn on the enemy front row. Rebecca provides backrow sniping that Chihiro’s kit lacks. With 5 Minutemen the lineup earns the full +20% ATK/HP faction bonus, making it a strong budget composition through early seasons.
Primary tank. Super Core accelerates focus from pos 1. AC Shield UW provides a battle-start shield. Alpha Bless adds round 1 team shields and crit immunity.
Heals front line via Battlefield Treatment. Mirage UW bleeding triggers Blaze Shark bullets. Mental Control draws enemy attacks to Mira, protecting the backrow.
Front-row bleeder. Apocalypse adds Crit scaling to Unsheathe’s AOE. Blood Blade bleeds fuel Heytex’s Blaze Shark procs. Murasame’s -20% healing debuff stacks with the sustained DoT pressure.
Hellfire burns all enemies, triggering Heytex’s Blaze Shark bullets. Apocalypse adds Crit scaling. Combined with Chihiro’s bleed, enemies suffer dual status effects. +8% DMG for Minutemen.
Primary carry. Bullet Rain marks 3 random enemies. Blaze Shark procs off Chihiro’s bleeds, Benson’s burns, and Mira’s bleeds for sustained multi-hit damage.
Transitional lineup that pairs Chihiro’s front-row bleed with Heytex’s random-targeting AOE. Benson provides burning to trigger Heytex’s Blaze Shark UW, while Chihiro’s Blood Blade adds bleed as a second status trigger. Murasame’s -20% healing debuff on bleeding targets suppresses enemy recovery while Heytex’s marks amplify team damage. Bolton and Mira hold the front line with shields and heals.
Synergies
Benson’s Hellfire burns all enemies while Chihiro’s Blood Blade bleeds the front row. Enemies suffer dual DoTs, and Murasame’s -20% healing reduction prevents them from recovering through the sustained damage. Benson also grants +8% DMG to all Minutemen via Nirvana.
Mira’s Mirage UW inflicts bleeding when Battledog’s Attack procs, adding a second bleed source alongside Chihiro. Multiple bleeding targets ensure Murasame’s -20% healing debuff is applied broadly across the enemy lineup.
Heytex’s Blaze Shark UW fires extra bullets whenever Minutemen allies inflict status effects. Chihiro’s Blood Blade bleed counts as a Minuteman-applied status, generating Blaze Shark procs that amplify Heytex’s AOE output.
Interactions with other heroes’ ultimate weapons.
Hellfire UW lets burning stack up to 15 layers. Enemies simultaneously afflicted by Chihiro’s Blood Blade bleed and Benson’s burn stacks face compounding DoT pressure, and Murasame’s -20% healing reduction prevents them from out-healing the combined damage.
When Mira takes damage, 20% chance to cast Battledog’s Attack which inflicts Bleeding. Combined with Chihiro’s own Blood Blade bleeds, the enemy lineup faces multiple bleed sources, ensuring Murasame’s healing reduction debuff is applied across more targets.

Counters
- High DMG Mitigation tanks (Hard Counter) — Tanks with stacked DMG Mitigation (Buri’s Link of Life, Ada’s Reviving) reduce Chihiro’s front-row AOE to negligible chip damage. Her bleed scales off WPN DMG, which is also mitigated, making both her direct and DoT damage ineffective against tanky compositions.
- Cleanse / heal lineups (Soft Counter) — Heroes with cleanse effects remove Chihiro’s bleed before Murasame’s -20% healing reduction can accumulate value. Strong healers like Ada can out-heal the bleed damage entirely.
- Shield-reliant heroes (Hard Counter) — Chihiro’s upgraded 5th skill makes shielded targets take 20% more damage from Unsheathe. Lineups built around Bolton’s AC Shield or Harman’s Staunch Will shields inadvertently amplify Chihiro’s AOE output against the entire front row.
- Low-sustain frontlines (Soft Counter) — Front-row heroes without dedicated healing or shields are vulnerable to Chihiro’s sustained bleed-and-slash pressure. Murasame’s -20% healing reduction compounds the problem by reducing whatever incidental healing they receive.
Rating
B Tier. Chihiro fills a useful early-game niche as a front-row AOE bleeder with anti-shield utility, but her damage ceiling is limited by Elite-rarity stats and a kit that lacks multi-target randomization. Outclassed by Heytex and Benson in Minutemen AOE roles from Season 5 onward.
