Secondary tank
4: Standard single-target DPS slot. Fires after front-row tanks absorb initial damage, letting Masamune Flash target the most valuable enemy.
5: Back corner alternative. Same targeting as pos 4 with slightly later action order. Safe positioning for a hero with no defensive utility.
3: Mid backrow. Slightly more exposed but fires earlier, useful when you want Masamune Flash to soften a target before other backrow carries act.
Qian Qian is a Watchers Commando who delivers a straightforward 300% WPN DMG burst to a single enemy with Masamune Flash, backed by passive WPN DMG scaling from Blade, Sharp Edge, and Edge. Her kit lacks secondary utility — no debuffs, no team buffs, no crowd control — making her a pure damage stick that relies entirely on raw numbers. Gilded Sword UW trades TAC DEF for WPN DEF, offering niche durability against physical lineups but creating exploitable vulnerability to tactical damage.
Pros & Cons
- Masamune Flash delivers 300% WPN DMG in a single hit — one of the highest raw multipliers among Elite heroes
- Triple passive WPN DMG scaling (Blade +6%, Sharp Edge +12%, Outrageous equivalent) provides strong baseline damage
- Edge adds +100% WPN DMG on skill, making focus skill casts hit extremely hard
- Watchers faction synergy with Kelly, Galande, Roland, and Laurel for early-game compositions
- No secondary utility whatsoever — no debuffs, no shields, no team buffs, no crowd control
- Gilded Sword UW’s -40% TAC DEF creates a major vulnerability to tactical damage dealers
- Outclassed by every Advanced Elite and Master single-target carry in raw damage output
- Offers nothing to the team beyond personal damage, making her slot inefficient
Skills
Slashs the Masamune twice, causing 180/204/228/252/300% WPN DMG to 1 target of the enemy
+3/3.6/4.2/4.8/6% WPN DMG Bonus and +3/3.6/4.2/4.8/6% DMG Mitigation for this Hero.
+7/8/9/10/12% WPN DMG Bonus and -2% DMG Mitigation for this Hero.
Casting "Masamune Flash" will deal an additional 50/60/70/80/100% WPN DMG.
Gear
Reaper maximizes Masamune Flash burst damage. Apocalypse is competitive with high crit investment. Resolute is the defensive option for a hero with no self-sustain. Qian Qian’s straightforward kit means gear choice is simply the best damage set available.
+15% Crit Rate and +30% Crit Damage. A crit on Masamune Flash with Edge’s +100% WPN DMG bonus creates extreme single-hit burst. Requires LUK statue investment to be consistent.
#1 BestSurvivability fallback. Death immunity keeps Qian Qian alive through one burst attempt. The +0.4% ATK per 1% HP lost provides a minor damage boost under pressure.
#2Best generic DPS set for STR Commandos. +15% WPN DMG Bonus and +30% DMG on focus skill directly amplify Masamune Flash’s 300% base multiplier for maximum burst damage.
#3Qian Qian is a pure STR damage dealer. Prioritize STR and damage stats on offensive slots. Defensive slots are especially important due to Gilded Sword UW’s -40% TAC DEF — stack DEF and DMG Mitigation to compensate for the tactical vulnerability.
DMG Bonus, STR, Crit Rate
DMG Bonus is the universal multiplier; STR scales WPN ATK; Crit Rate for burst crits on Masamune Flash.
HP%, AGI, VIT
Survivability stats. HP% is the most efficient; AGI reduces incoming damage. Critical for a hero with no defensive skills.
DEF, VIT, DMG Mitigation
Pure defense. Particularly important given Gilded Sword UW’s -40% TAC DEF penalty — body stats help offset the vulnerability.
DMG Bonus, STR, Skill Effect Enhancement
DMG Bonus for universal scaling; STR for WPN ATK; Skill Effect Enhancement boosts Masamune Flash multiplier.

Primary Watchers tank. Super Core feeds focus to the team from pos 1. Alpha Bless provides round 1 team shields and crit immunity. Scarlet Authority UW makes all allies deal +10% DMG and receive +10% more healing.
Provides healing to sustain the lineup. Castle adds DEF bonuses for front-line durability. Watchers faction member.
Core DPS. Masamune Flash deals 300% WPN DMG to a single target. Edge adds +100% WPN DMG on skill. Fires from pos 3 to soften targets before Galande and Kelly follow up.
Targets the lowest-HP enemy with massive WPN DMG. Pairs with Qian Qian for dual single-target burst — Qian Qian softens, Galande executes.
Hunting targets the lowest-AGI enemy. Spine Whip UW gives a chance for double actions. Third single-target DPS creates overwhelming focus-fire pressure.
Early Watchers lineup pairing Galande’s lowest-HP targeting with Qian Qian’s raw burst. Roland and Laurel anchor the front with tanking and support. Kelly adds a third single-target DPS for overwhelming focus-fire. With 4-5 Watchers the faction bonus provides meaningful ATK/HP scaling. The lineup is purely offensive — no AOE, no debuffs — and wins by eliminating key targets fast.
Budget tank. Castle provides DEF bonuses; Tough Wall adds HP recovery. Holds the front line until replaced by Roland or a higher-tier tank.
Provides shields and support utility. Alpha Bless adds round 1 team shields and crit immunity.
Espionage debuffs all enemies’ TAC DMG taken by 15%. Intel Analysis shields the lineup. Golden SMG UW amplifies shields by 20%. Fires from pos 3 to apply debuffs before Qian Qian and Kelly attack.
Core DPS. Masamune Flash deals 300% WPN DMG burst. Edge adds +100% WPN DMG on skill. Pure damage output in a lineup that relies on two carries.
Core DPS partner. Hunting targets the lowest-AGI enemy. Spine Whip UW gives double action chance. Watchers faction synergy with Qian Qian and Suzuki Ren.
Budget cross-faction lineup combining Watchers DPS with early-game supports. Park Ji-Mi and Suzuki Ren provide shields and debuffs while Kelly and Qian Qian deliver single-target burst. Lunn holds the front as a budget tank. Suzuki Ren’s Espionage debuffs all enemies’ TAC damage taken, and Intel Analysis shields the team. The lineup trades faction consistency for practical hero availability.
Synergies
Galande targets the lowest-HP enemy with massive WPN DMG. Qian Qian’s Masamune Flash can soften a target before Galande executes it. Together they create overwhelming single-target focus-fire that eliminates key threats before they can act.
Kelly’s Hunting targets the lowest-AGI enemy while Qian Qian targets freely. Both are Watchers, contributing to the faction ATK/HP bonus. Dual single-target DPS ensures that at least two enemy carries are under immediate threat each round.
Roland’s tanking keeps the front line stable while Qian Qian operates safely from the backrow. Scarlet Authority UW makes all allies deal +10% DMG, directly amplifying Qian Qian’s already high Masamune Flash multiplier.
Interactions with other heroes’ ultimate weapons.
Scarlet Authority makes the entire lineup deal +10% DMG. This directly amplifies Qian Qian’s Masamune Flash output, stacking with her passive WPN DMG bonuses (Blade +6%, Sharp Edge +12%). Gilded Sword’s +40% WPN DEF also makes Qian Qian more durable against WPN-based threats while Roland draws fire from the front.
Spine Whip gives Kelly a 50-100% chance for a second action each round. When Kelly double-acts and Qian Qian fires Masamune Flash in the same round, two high-multiplier single-target hits land on the enemy lineup, overwhelming any single tank’s ability to protect backrow carries.

Counters
- Any higher-tier single-target carry (Hard Counter) — Kelly, Galande, Blanche, and Amum all deal more single-target damage than Qian Qian with stronger secondary effects. In a mirror single-target DPS matchup, Qian Qian loses to any Advanced Elite or higher carry due to lower stats and no utility.
- TAC damage dealers (Soft Counter) — Gilded Sword UW’s -40% TAC DEF makes Qian Qian exceptionally vulnerable to tactical damage. Heroes like Heytex, Rebecca, and Suzuki Ren deal significantly more damage to Qian Qian than they would to a hero without this defensive penalty.
- Low-DEF targets (Situational Counter) — Masamune Flash’s 300% WPN DMG with Edge’s +100% WPN DMG bonus hits extremely hard against targets with low WPN DEF. Squishy backrow carries without defensive gear or shields take massive damage from Qian Qian’s focus skill.
Rating
C Tier. Qian Qian is a pure single-target damage dealer with no utility, no debuffs, and no team buffs. Her 300% WPN DMG burst is respectable but outclassed by Kelly, Galande, and Blanche who combine similar or higher damage with meaningful secondary effects. Gilded Sword UW’s -40% TAC DEF is a significant drawback. She serves as a budget DPS filler in early Watchers compositions only.
