Wrenches are used to repair your APCs. The first repair will take you five wrenches and each subsequent repair of the same APC takes progressively more wrenches.

Here’s where you can get wrenches:
- Exchange five Merit for one wrench in the Alliance Shop.
- Hence, you get 60 wrenches for 300 Merit or 100 wrenches for 500 Merit.
- 60 wrenches = 12 first-time repairs or 360 points of durability.
- 100 wrenches = 20 first-time repairs or 600 points of durability.
- But, this is not the best way of using your Merit.
- Get wrenches as part of the reward for your Alliance Level increase.
- Usually, R2-R4 players will get a certain number of wrenches.
- Buy wrenches in packs. Usually, there are two packs available on Saturday, the last Alliance Duel day.
- There’s also a Wrench Delivery pack in the Pack Shop.
- Get wrenches from military supply codes. They often throw some into the rewards.
Here’s what you can do to decrease the need for wrench usage:
- Increase the number of free repairs you can do a day.
- Premium will give you two extra free repairs a day.
- The “Wear-Resistant Tire” policy card can give you one free repair a day at level 0 and one more at level three. It can also reduce wrench consumption by 5% at the last level.
- Upgrade the Auto Repair Station to level 21 to have two free repairs at all times.
- Get NATE and max out its second skill. It can increase durability recovery speed by up to 10%.
- There is also a special gear set for NATE called Smart Butler. You can occasionally see it in special bundles, and it usually goes for $100 (ouch). It will increase the durability restoration speed by an additional 5%.
