4: Back-row placement keeps Barron safe while he fires Haymaker at a single target. Position 4 balances protection with consistent focus-bar fill from the middle back.
5: Back corner provides maximum safety. Slightly less preferred than position 4 due to slower focus generation in some APC configurations.
3: Middle-back fallback when positions 4 and 5 are occupied by higher-priority heroes.
Barron is a Vindicators Commando who delivers escalating single-target WPN DMG through Haymaker and Crit Punch, scaling off his 894 STR base. His Boxing and High Kick passives grant +5% DMG Bonus and +5% DMG Mitigation plus +10% DMG Bonus respectively, giving him a self-contained offensive profile. With his Crimson Drill UW he also debuffs the first enemy attacker’s DMG by 25% per round, adding a defensive layer to an otherwise pure-DPS kit.
Pros & Cons
- Haymaker deals 300% WPN DMG to a single target at max level, providing strong burst for an Elite-tier hero with 894 STR.
- Crit Punch adds +100% WPN DMG on every skill cast, effectively doubling Haymaker’s output on crit-enabled hits.
- Boxing grants +5% DMG Bonus and +5% DMG Mitigation — a dual offensive/defensive passive that requires no activation.
- High Kick provides an additional +10% DMG Bonus passively, stacking with Boxing for a combined +15% DMG Bonus from passives alone.
- Crimson Drill UW (Master) decreases the first enemy attacker’s DMG by 25% each round, providing a significant defensive debuff that scales with fight length.
- Only four skills — no fifth skill limits his ceiling compared to Advanced Elite carries.
- STR Commando with no AOE — his damage is limited to single targets, providing no value against grouped enemies.
- Outclassed by Enrique and Ricardo as Vindicator carries by S5, relegating Barron to a secondary damage slot at best.
- Low VIT (299) makes him fragile if targeted directly, requiring back-row placement.

Gear
Reaper + Apocalypse is the standard DPS pairing for STR carries. Reaper handles DEF-stacking tanks, Apocalypse provides crit scaling. Resolute is a fallback for survival. Barron has no exclusive gear sets as an Elite hero.
+15% Crit and +30% Crit DMG at 4-piece. Crit Punch adds +100% WPN DMG on skill, and landing that as a critical hit with Apocalypse bonus creates Barron’s highest single-hit potential. Best paired with Reaper.
#1 Best+0.4% ATK per 1% HP lost plus death immunity. Resolute provides a safety net — if Barron is bursted he survives once and gains increasing ATK as his HP drops. Useful in lineups without strong healers.
#2+8% WPN DMG and 50% DEF ignore at 4-piece. Barron is a STR Commando whose Haymaker deals WPN DMG — Reaper directly amplifies his primary damage type and bypasses enemy DEF stacking. Best-in-slot for raw single-target burst.
#3Barron is a pure STR DPS — weapon and jewelry should maximise DMG Bonus, STR, and Crit Rate for burst output. Helmet and body should focus on survival to keep him alive long enough to fire Haymaker. Do not roll INT or TAC-related stats.
DMG Bonus, STR, Crit Rate
DMG Bonus amplifies all of Barron’s WPN DMG output. STR directly increases his ATK stat which Haymaker scales from. Crit Rate enables Crit Punch’s +100% WPN DMG bonus to land as critical hits for maximum burst.
HP%, AGI, VIT
HP% keeps Barron alive in prolonged fights. AGI reduces incoming damage and protects against AGI-targeting skills. VIT supplements his low 299 base for basic survivability.
HP%, VIT, DMG Mitigation
Defensive substats for survival. Barron’s 299 VIT makes him fragile — HP% and VIT are essential to prevent early death. DMG Mitigation stacks with Boxing’s +5% passive.
DMG Bonus, STR, Crit Rate
Same offensive priority as weapon. DMG Bonus and STR scale Haymaker; Crit Rate enables critical hits that multiply Crit Punch’s bonus damage.

Primary tank. Castle’s block chance and Tough Wall’s DEF stacking keep Enrique alive as the front-line anchor. Absorbs damage so Barron and Blanche can deal freely.
Secondary tank with damage contribution. Castle adds durability. Self-Healing restores HP each round, keeping Ricardo sustainable in the off-tank role. Vindicators faction.
Back-row DPS. Hurricane boosts TAC DMG and Focus DMG. Apocalypse adds Crit and Crit DMG. Blanche provides a second damage source alongside Barron.
Core carry. Reaper’s 50% DEF ignore and +8% WPN DMG amplify Haymaker’s 300% WPN DMG. Apocalypse adds Crit scaling for Crit Punch procs. Barron’s +15% passive DMG Bonus from Boxing and High Kick multiplies all damage further.
Back-row support. Heal amplifies Quinn’s sustain output. Alpha Bless provides round 1 team shields and Crit Immunity. Fifth Vindicators hero is not available at this stage, so Quinn fills as the best available support.
A straightforward Vindicators DPS lineup. Enrique tanks from position 1 while Barron delivers single-target burst from position 4. Ricardo provides secondary front-line pressure, Blanche adds back-row tactical damage, and Quinn supports with heals or utility. Four Vindicators provide the +15% ATK/HP faction bonus. Effective through S2 as a budget carry lineup before Advanced Elite replacements arrive.
Primary tank. Castle provides block chance and DMG Mitigation. Mental Control redirects attacks to Enrique, protecting the back-row damage dealers.
Off-tank with damage contribution. Resolute provides death immunity and scaling ATK as HP drops. Self-Healing keeps Ricardo topped up each round.
Back-row DPS. Hurricane and Apocalypse maximise Betty’s tactical burst output. Provides a second damage source to complement Barron’s WPN DMG.
Core carry. Reaper + Apocalypse for maximum Haymaker burst. Crimson Drill UW debuffs the first enemy attacker’s DMG by 25% per round, progressively weakening the enemy’s offensive output as the fight continues.
Third DPS source. Hurricane’s +8% TAC DMG and +24% Focus DMG amplify Kate’s Rocket Launcher. Apocalypse adds Crit and Crit DMG. Kate targets a random enemy backrow hero, diversifying damage angles alongside Barron’s single-target and Betty’s tactical burst. Fifth Vindicators hero for the +20% ATK/HP faction bonus.
A full Vindicators aggro lineup that pairs Barron’s single-target burst with Ricardo’s hybrid tank/DPS role. Betty provides back-row tactical damage and Kate adds a third DPS angle with Rocket Launcher targeting enemy backrow heroes. Enrique anchors the front line while Barron’s Crimson Drill UW debuffs the first enemy attacker’s DMG by 25% per round. All five heroes are Vindicators for the +20% ATK/HP faction bonus.
Synergies
Enrique is the standard Vindicators tank. His front-line presence absorbs damage so Barron can fire Haymaker from the back row without being targeted. Both are Vindicators, providing faction bonus stacking. Enrique’s defensive passives pair well with Barron’s Boxing +5% DMG Mitigation for a combined mitigation stack.
Ricardo provides secondary STR-based damage from the off-tank position. With both Ricardo and Barron dealing WPN DMG, enemy tanks face pressure from two directions. Ricardo’s front-line role also draws targeting away from Barron in position 4.
Blanche’s tactical damage softens enemy heroes while Barron’s Crimson Drill UW reduces the first enemy attacker’s DMG by 25% per round. The combination of Blanche weakening enemies offensively and Barron debuffing their damage creates a dual-pressure loop.
Interactions with other heroes’ ultimate weapons.
Barron’s Crimson Drill decreases the first enemy attacker’s DMG by 25% per round. When Enrique is tanking in position 1, this debuff lands on the enemy hero targeting Enrique first, directly reducing the damage Enrique takes and extending his survival window.
Self-synergy: Crimson Drill’s 25% DMG reduction per round on the first enemy attacker becomes increasingly powerful in prolonged fights. Combined with Boxing’s +5% DMG Mitigation, Barron’s lineup takes progressively less damage each round from the enemy’s primary threat.

Counters
- AOE damage carries (Hard Counter) — Barron deals only single-target damage. AOE carries like Heytex 103 deal damage to multiple heroes simultaneously, overwhelming the lineup’s sustain while Barron can only focus one target at a time.
- High-DEF tanks with block (Soft Counter) — Barron’s WPN DMG can be partially mitigated by high-DEF tanks with block chance. While Reaper’s 50% DEF ignore helps, extremely tanky front lines can still absorb Haymaker without dying, wasting Barron’s single-target focus.
- Low-HP back-row carries (Hard Counter) — Haymaker’s 300% WPN DMG single-target burst can delete fragile back-row carries in one or two hits, especially with Crit Punch’s +100% WPN DMG bonus on a critical hit.
- Single-carry lineups (Soft Counter) — Lineups reliant on one damage dealer are vulnerable to Barron’s focused burst. Haymaker can prioritise the carry, and Crimson Drill’s 25% DMG reduction further weakens their sole damage source.
Rating
B Tier. Barron is a functional single-target DPS through S0-S4. His 300% WPN DMG Haymaker plus +100% WPN DMG on-skill from Crit Punch provides respectable burst for an Elite hero. The Crimson Drill UW’s 25% DMG reduction per round on the first attacker is a notable defensive bonus. He is rated B because his four-skill kit caps his ceiling, his damage cannot match Advanced Elite carries with fifth skills and exclusive gear, and Vindicators have stronger carry options (Enrique, Ricardo) that push Barron into a secondary damage role.

Trivia
- Barron was once a normal worker, but he was fired by his boss for eating too much and acting greedily. Later, extreme hunger made Barron lose his mind and search for any food he could find, leading to cannibalism and exile from the community. He joined the Vindicators to survive and find food after that incident.
- Barron’s appearance somewhat resembles Roadhog from the Overwatch series.
