Single Damage
4: Standard carry slot. Fires after debuffers and AOE heroes have softened targets below 50% HP, activating Conviction’s +10% damage taken bonus before Galande attacks.
5: Works if another damage dealer needs pos 4. Still back-row, still safe. Fires last in Super Core cycle, giving maximum time for targets to be softened.
3: Fires earlier but before teammates have softened targets. Conviction triggers less reliably from this position since fewer teammates have acted before Galande.
Galande is a relentless executioner who targets the lowest-HP enemy and deals escalating damage to wounded targets, finishing kills with a bonus 160% WPN DMG attack via Execution. His Conviction passive makes all enemies below 50% HP take 10% more damage from all sources, turning him into a team-wide damage amplifier once targets are softened. With Judgement UW adding Ruling Markers that detonate for AOE damage on kills and a 20% chance to assist teammate attacks, Galande snowballs harder than any other single-target hero in the early-to-mid game.
Pros & Cons
- Punishment always targets the lowest-HP enemy, ensuring Galande focuses the most killable target automatically without needing manual targeting.
- Conviction makes all enemies below 50% HP take +10% more damage from all sources — a team-wide damage amplifier that benefits every teammate.
- Execution triggers a bonus 160% WPN DMG attack if Galande kills his target, enabling chain kills in the same round.
- Judgement UW accumulates Ruling Markers on attacked targets; on kill, markers detonate for count*60% DMG to all enemies, adding AOE burst to a single-target hero.
- Execution exclusive gear ignores 30% DEF (2-piece) and grants a 50% chance for an extra move next round on action-based kills (4-piece), creating multi-turn snowball potential.
- Dependent on teammates to soften targets below 50% HP before Conviction activates — weak when fighting fresh, full-HP lineups in the early rounds.
- Lower damage ceiling than Victoria (no shield-scaling) and Kelly (no double-action UW), limiting his effectiveness in late Dimensions meta.
- Unsheathed Blade deals only 300/500% WPN DMG to a single target — mediocre base multipliers compared to S-tier carries.
- No self-sustain or survivability mechanics; relies entirely on teammates for protection and healing.
Skills
Deals 180/204/228/252/300% WPN DMG to 1 enemy.
Increase the WPN DMG Bonus for this Hero +5/6/7/8/10%. When attacking, select the target with the lowest current HP of the enemy.

When using "Ruling", additional 50/60/70/80/100% WPN DMG is caused.
If the target is killed by the Hero’s action, the Hero will be able to attack once more, dealing 80/96/112/128/160% WPN DMG.
Gear
Execution is best-in-slot — the DEF ignore and extra-move-on-kill mechanics define Galande’s playstyle. Resolute is mandatory for survivability. Reaper is the strongest offensive alternative, synergising directly with Conviction’s 50% HP threshold. Apocalypse is competitive in crit-focused Buri lineups.
Exclusive set. 2-piece ignores 30% DEF, dramatically increasing effective damage against tanks. 4-piece grants 50% chance for an extra move next round when Galande kills by action, enabling snowball turns where he acts twice and chains Execution kills.
#1 BestStandard DPS survivability set. +0.4% ATK per 1% HP lost rewards trading HP for damage. The 4-piece death immunity is essential for a hero with no self-sustain who operates in the back row.
#2+15% Crit Rate and +30% Crit Damage. Galande’s hits are large single instances — critting on an Execution kill chain is devastating. Strong in Buri crit lineups.
#3+10% ATK and +35% DMG after defeating target. Pairs with Execution’s kill-based snowball — each kill grants +35% DMG on the next attack, compounding with Execution’s bonus hit.
#4Normal attacks cause bleeding. Adds sustained damage between skill casts. Relevant in early game before Execution exclusive gear is available.
#5+10% DMG Bonus and +25% DMG to targets below 50% HP. Directly synergises with Conviction’s +10% damage taken threshold — when both activate, Galande deals +35% more effective damage to wounded targets.
#6Galande is a STR-based single-target carry. Prioritize STR and damage stats on weapon and jewelry (offensive slots), and HP/DEF/VIT on helmet and body (defensive slots). Do not roll INT or TAC ATK substats — Galande has no TAC damage skills.
DMG Bonus, STR, Crit Rate
DMG Bonus is a universal multiplier. STR scales WPN ATK for all of Galande’s damage skills. Crit Rate amplifies his large single-hit instances.
HP%, AGI, VIT
Survivability stats. HP% is the most efficient. AGI reduces incoming damage and improves action order positioning.
DEF, VIT, DMG Mitigation
Pure defense. Galande has no self-sustain — he needs raw survivability to stay alive long enough to chain Execution kills.
DMG Bonus, STR, Skill Effect Enhancement
DMG Bonus is top priority. STR scales damage. Skill Effect Enhancement directly boosts Ruling and Execution multipliers.

Primary tank. Scarlet Authority UW makes the lineup deal 10% more DMG and receive 10% more healing/shield. Watchers Leader grants +6% DMG Mitigation and +2% HP to all Watchers (all 5 heroes). Duke exclusive gear grants all Watchers +4% DMG.
Flaming Strike hits 3 back-row enemies, softening targets below 50% HP for Galande’s Conviction. Wolf exclusive gear provides death immunity at 5 Pledge layers. Scarlet Wolf adds +15% TAC DMG and +5% DMG Mitigation.
Primary single-target carry. Targets lowest-HP enemy, capitalising on Laurel’s AOE softening. Conviction makes enemies below 50% HP take +10% more damage from all sources. Execution grants bonus 160% WPN DMG attack on kill.
Secondary single-target carry. Targets lowest-AGI enemy (different target than Galande’s lowest-HP targeting). Spine Whip UW gives 50-100% chance for a second action each round. Cat Soul reduces target DMG Mitigation by 7% per action, stacks 3.
Drone shields protect the lowest-HP ally. Pinky Silhouette UW clears status effects on drone rescue and makes drone-hit enemies take +20% more damage. Drone exclusive gear has 30% chance for extra drone generation.
Classic Watchers dual-sniper lineup. Galande targets the lowest-HP enemy while Kelly targets the lowest-AGI enemy, ensuring two different priority targets are attacked simultaneously. Roland provides Watchers faction buffs (+6% DMG Mitigation, +2% HP to all Watchers) and front- line tanking. Laurel handles AOE back-row damage while Penny provides drone shields and healing. All 5 heroes are Watchers for the maximum +20% ATK/HP faction bonus.
AC Shield UW provides 200% max HP shield at battle start. Super Core accelerates focus from pos 1. Alpha Bless grants team-wide round 1 shields and crit immunity. Guardian of Justice gives +5% DMG Mitigation to all allies.
Staunch Will shields all allies every skill cast. Chimera Anchor UW deals chip damage per shield event. Guardian INT scales shield size with rounds elapsed. Keeps Galande alive through sustained shields.
Burns all enemies, softening them below 50% HP for Galande’s Conviction threshold. Hellfire UW allows 15 burn stacks. +8% DMG bonus for all Minutemen. Minutemen faction with Bolton for +10% ATK/HP.
Primary finisher. Targets lowest-HP enemy after Benson’s AOE has softened the field. Conviction activates against all targets below 50% HP. Execution bonus attack on kill chains into weakened targets.
Secondary carry. Targets lowest-AGI enemy. Spine Whip UW double-action. Cat Soul shreds target DMG Mitigation. Covers the target Galande does not attack.
Galande as the finisher in a Bolton-anchored lineup with stronger front-line durability than the pure Watchers build. Bolton’s AC Shield UW provides battle-start shields. Harman provides team-wide shields every round. Benson’s AOE burns soften all enemies below 50% HP for Galande’s Conviction threshold. Kelly handles a second priority target. Cross-faction (3 Minutemen + 2 Watchers) sacrifices full faction bonus for stronger individual hero synergies.
Primary tank. Link of Life distributes 50% of incoming damage across all linked heroes with +24% DMG Mitigation. Guardian STR UW casts Link of Life at battle start. Frosty Coffin grants +15% crit rate and +30% crit DMG while Link is active.
Staunch Will shields all allies, feeding Victoria’s Energy Detection. Alpha Bless provides team-wide crit immunity and round 1 shields. Chimera Anchor UW deals chip damage per shield.
Cursed Scythe reduces all enemy STR, INT, and AGI by 12% for 2 rounds on every cast. Soul Reaper boosts Elaine’s own stats by 100% of the stat loss she inflicts. Skeleton debuffs the three highest-stat enemies at battle start.
Secondary carry and target softener. Conviction makes enemies below 50% HP take +10% more damage from all sources, amplifying Victoria’s Lightsword. Execution chains kills on weakened targets that Victoria’s Unsheathed Blade leaves at 1 HP.
Primary carry. Melt Armor increases target’s damage taken by 18% for 2 rounds. Lightsword adds 250% of shield as burst damage. Buri’s Frosty Coffin crit bonuses amplify her massive single hits. Galande’s Conviction stacks with Melt Armor for combined +28% damage taken.
Galande paired with Victoria in a cross-faction lineup for combined single-target pressure. Galande softens targets with Conviction (+10% damage taken below 50% HP) and Melt Armor (+18% damage taken from Victoria), while Victoria delivers the killing blow with Lightsword burst. Buri’s Link of Life protects both carries from burst damage. Elaine’s Cursed Scythe debuffs enemy stats by 12% per cast, compounding Galande’s damage over multiple rounds. Lower tier due to fractured faction bonuses and overlap in single-target roles.
Synergies
Galande targets the lowest-HP enemy; Kelly targets the lowest-AGI enemy. Different targeting means they attack separate priority targets simultaneously, preventing the enemy from protecting both. Both are Watchers, contributing to faction bonuses.
Benson’s Hellfire burns all enemies, dealing sustained AOE damage that pushes targets below 50% HP. Once below the threshold, Galande’s Conviction activates (+10% damage taken from all sources). Benson softens the field; Galande finishes the kills.
Roland’s Scarlet Authority UW makes the entire lineup deal +10% more DMG and receive +10% more healing/shield. Watchers Leader grants +6% DMG Mitigation and +2% HP to all Watchers. Duke exclusive gear adds +4% DMG to all Watchers, directly boosting Galande’s output.
Elaine’s Cursed Scythe reduces all enemy STR, INT, and AGI by 12% per cast. Lower AGI means enemies are more likely to be the lowest-AGI target for Kelly, while lower HP from stat loss makes them easier for Galande to reach kill threshold. The debuffs compound across rounds.
Galande’s Conviction makes enemies below 50% HP take +10% more damage. Victoria’s Melt Armor adds +18% damage taken. When both debuffs are active on the same target, it takes +28% more damage from all sources. Galande also finishes targets that Victoria’s Unsheathed Blade cannot kill (stops at 1 HP).
Interactions with other heroes’ ultimate weapons.
Scarlet Authority makes the entire lineup deal +10% more DMG and receive +10% more healing and shield effects. The +10% DMG directly amplifies Galande’s Ruling and Execution damage. Watchers additionally get +50% skill effects, boosting Galande’s Conviction and Trial multipliers.
Spine Whip gives Kelly 50-100% chance for a second action each round. More Kelly actions mean more targets softened below 50% HP, activating Galande’s Conviction on additional enemies. The +60 Destructive Might from Spine Whip also makes the lineup hit harder overall.
Drone-hit enemies take +20% more damage for 2 rounds. Combined with Galande’s Conviction (+10% below 50% HP) and Execution’s 30% DEF ignore, the target’s effective durability drops dramatically, enabling Galande to one-shot heroes he otherwise could not kill.

Counters
- Buri (Hard Counter) — Buri’s Link of Life distributes 50% of incoming damage across all heroes. This prevents any single enemy from dropping below 50% HP quickly, delaying Conviction’s activation. Galande cannot focus down a target when the damage is shared across all five enemies.
- Ada (Soft Counter) — Ada’s Reviving heals the entire enemy team passively every round. Targets that Galande softens below 50% HP can be healed back above the threshold before his next turn, neutralising Conviction’s +10% damage taken bonus.
- High-shield lineups (Soft Counter) — Lineups with Harman, Bolton, and Penny generate continuous shields that absorb Galande’s single-target hits. Since Galande deals only WPN DMG with moderate multipliers, he struggles to break through stacked shields to reach the target’s actual HP.
- Fragile backrow lineups (Hard Counter) — Lineups with multiple low-HP backrow carries (Rebecca, Heytex, Laurel) are vulnerable to Galande’s Punishment targeting. He automatically attacks the lowest-HP hero, and Execution chains through fragile targets one by one.
- Healerless lineups (Soft Counter) — Without healing, targets that drop below 50% HP stay below it. Conviction’s +10% damage taken remains active permanently on wounded heroes, compounding with each round as more targets fall below threshold.
Rating
S Tier. Galande is an S-tier single-target finisher who excels at cleaning up weakened targets with devastating snowball potential. His Conviction passive (+10% damage taken to enemies below 50% HP) benefits the entire team as a universal damage amplifier. Execution’s bonus attack on kills creates chain-kill sequences that can dismantle entire backlines. While he is dependent on teammates to soften targets first, his combination of team-wide damage amplification, DEF-ignoring exclusive gear, and kill-chaining mechanics earns S-tier status as a premier Watchers carry.

Trivia
- Galande was extremely cold-hearted and selfish; he refused to rescue his servants, which shattered his bond with his former comrade Theodore—who later became “Roger the Lifetaker.”
- Part of his appearance resembles Gray Fox and Raiden from the Metal Gear Solid series.
